You came fully clothed, For you were heaven sent, A robe of love covered your beauty Tempted by the fact to peek inside I open the dress to see what you hide Touching the ground the robe fell apart Seeing you disappeared weakened my heart Now I’m left here standing What will happen now has left me pondering Every day I appear with nothing worn Wishing your arrival in that lovely robe. I so much enjoyed reading this piece. ~Sheri "The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first" |
