WICCAN FUN (A Pantoum)  Gather 'round my little sweets - Cackling, Cackling, Sorceress Time is nigh for Trick or Treats Gainsay ye wont WickedNess Cackling, Cackling, Sorceress Big black bats for lamian stew Gainsay ye wont WickedNess Bubbling, bubbling brimful brew Big black bats for lamian stew Come join in my Wiccan fun Bubbling, bubbling brimful brew You shall see how magick's done Come join in my Wiccan fun Churning, Churning changelings do You shall see how magick's done We'll make ghouls of all of you Churning, Churning changelings do Closer, Closer, cauldron's call We'll make ghouls of all of you Halloween spooks one and all Closer, Closer, cauldron's call Time is nigh for Trick or Treats Halloween spooks one and all Gather 'round my little sweets. |

I surely hope everyone enjoys the lighthearted "Trick or Treatin'" fun we all have here... Denise - Yep - definitely some cacophonous cacklin' happenin'.. JM - Shhhhhh.... Don't tell - This was last year's homework - I turned it in again this year... Ethan - Thanks - The Pantoum and its repetitions are indeed perfect for the flavor of a Halloween poem... Doubly good - I think most missed the double difficulty of making a good poem a Pantoum as well -two crowns for you I say (I curse when I choose to subject myself to these repeating forms ) |
