Race for the cure Take thy body see not the outside but the love that aches within Take my hand feel the care know I do not judge from the outside but that I look within Time is of the essence beauty all around the time you give is the love I found and all from within... I don't know why I wrote this because I can't find any words these days, but this just wrote itself, my fingers burned with incredible heat and this came out...I'm not sure what it means, I felt it and so it wrote itself... Must be from the love I feel from those that keep me warm with their thoughts, with their hopes, with their hearts....I just don't know... Don't judge a person by how they look. I think this is something that needs to be said more often. Thank you for reminding us. |

You were meant to write this RG, since it 'burned it's way' out of you. It's a very good reminder to look beneath the surface and see the REAL person. Someday, the race will not have to be run..there will be a cure. Keep smiling! |

RainbowGirl~ This is certainly a lovely reflection of how you feel ... 'the time you give is the love I found' Loving you and sending prayers that others will find it in their hearts to help run the race. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I did a little pre-race warmup last night, Little Chick... I knew I needed to leave on time so that I could pick up my race packet... so of course I had to stay late... even after working through lunch! LOL. And then I missed the bus... So by the time I got to my car, I had half an hour to drive across town. I took a page from yours and Lovey's books and floored it! LOL. By the time I screeched into a parking place, I had 5 minutes to make it across a huge mall (because you KNOW I'd parked at the wrong entrance! LOL) My usual pace is a waddle, but I hauled my substantial fanny across that mall at a full run... Of course, by the time I scooted through their closing door and collapsed onto the registration table, I couldn't get breath enough to tell them my name! LOL (Now I just need to get up at 4 am on a Saturday... yawn. *G*) Maybe you wrote this for a friend you see more kindly than she could ever see herself. *S* Whatever the reason, it's beautiful. *S* |
