Prism of the Heart

In heaven’s blue I see your eyes
Translucent jewel that mystifies
Mirrors of aquamarine
Serenity of blue and green

In radiant beams of golden sun
I see the joy that I had won
And happiness I couldn’t give up
In yellowness of buttercup

In lavender of lilacs bloom
Is held the sweet of your perfume
Forget-me-not in shades of blue
Still hold the memories of you

Your lips in moonlight’s silver glows
Your passion in the red of rose
In lily’s wings of yellow cream
The softness of a lovely dream

In copper tones of twilight’s gold
In ginger aureates of old
In bronzing memories of the past
A love that will forever last

Elizabeth, this is so well written, I really like it. It's so delicate, a blending balance of beautiful words and images. Really nice.
Take care
