My dreams lead me to you
I float on pale wriath clouds
In the arms of Morpheus
eager to keep our nightly date
For only in my silent sleep
Can I be with you again, touch you
I hear your breath whispering
Calling your siren song
Summoning me to come
And meet you in my dreams

My skin so sensitised, so attuned
to your special touch. Responds to,
Reacts to, even the barest trace
The merest hint of your scent
Brings a remembered glow,
Makes me radiate heat and fire
Arms ache to enfold
Legs beg to entwine
Hands yearn to reach
Fingers stretch to touch
And eyes beseech the empty air

So I yearn for the silent night
When once again I can return
I'll hold you, love you, feel you
When I meet you in my dreams

a lovely free verse with a very nice flow. and boy o boy, do i ever know the feeling... you expressed it very well, and i totally enjoyed.

I know this feeling very well also. Beautiful words! What a wonderful feeling to have your love in your arms again, even if it is only a dream. But then again, a dream is real to the one who is dreaming.....

This is one hot dream you have going on. Loved that style and flow you chose also. What a wonderful place to meet, where you can control the circumstances so easily and make it al so perfect.

Mark, so glad you liked this, I really admire your work, because you have such a command of flow and imagery. I thank you for dropping by and reading this. As for meeting in my dreams, mmmmmm all I can say is I'm off for my nightly date now. Now I wonder if he's waiting for me?
