She Sleeps She sleeps, and dreams of dreams midst angel’s wings hears the songs the angels sing she feels the breath of love’s lost call she is lifted up she will not fall she is not lost in this reverie but lo she’s found absolute majesty and she would gaze ‘pon his face and be taken up in his embrace lo in this, the dream of dreams she is clothed as if a queen and beside her midst angel’s wings stands the man of which angels sing in silent repose she shifts in sleep a voice fulfills all desires deep 4 October 2000 ©Karilea Rilling Jungel |
