its so easy to live in the past..where things are certain, less feared..but we gotta get our butts out of the past dont we..

one day..our futures will arrive tricks..

This says so much. I know I have a habit of that too, living in the past instead of looking at the now.

A saying so true, if we stand with one foot in yesterday, and one in tomorrow, we're (peeing) all over today.

No place to be my friend.  Care to fill it up with the sweetness of a cowboy's friendly heart of caring?  So few words but oh so many things said and felt in this one.  Hugs baby.

Such sad thoughts Vicky...my hope is that
you find the sunshine in your future...reach
out...hold tight...and never let go of the
sunshine there~

This is true, the present is void if you are living in the past. But it can surely happen

so much said in so few well chosen and spoken words ...
yes...I can relate to the comfort of the past
and to the spaces in between then and what lies ahead.
well done Vicky

Few words but well done! It could be me you have descibed here.

short and all too insightful, like that Ezra Pound one...i forget the title. something...Metro..."A station of the Metro"? i dunno, and i like that one a lot too...

but that's also why i love this lovely concoction of your here. it is how so many of us live, myself included. i always tell people to live in the moment, and i believe the key is too be mindful of the future, but always keep focus and good judgement here in the present. i wish i listened to myself a little more.

AWESOME. it's in my library.

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who said,"I drank what?"

SweetVicky~
Ahhhhh !
You've got the right formula ...
Mix it up with the past and the dreams ...
they're usually more fun than reality !
