It was like riding on clouds so soft.
Feeling the winds of love on my face.
Rejoicing in you.
Reveling in your warmth, your words.
Sailing through blue skys,
Relaxing on our magic carpet ride.
But I squinted away from the sunshine,
The very thing that could have shed light on the truth,
If I had only looked . . .
My heart yearned to feel the joy you gave.
To be embraced by your wings of love.
To soar to higher places above.
I have since realized that once again,
I was the fool.
The magic carpet ride was mere fantasy.
I have awoke from the dream,
Strange though, how real it seemed.

Juls....this one shows alot of pain and I wish this was not a real life situation for you but somehow I know it is. Take a deep breath my friend and hold your head up. Time is on your side and the clouds will pass soon for you. (promise)
