(a repost - of a fantasy written 1/98) If I didn't hear from you for a year... I don't know how to say this, But a year is eternity, It would be like Dehydration in the desert Starving in a prison Waiting for you. If I couldn't contact you for a month But deep anguish would set in I would wither, age, Creases would form in my cheeks From the constant tears Looking for you. No, don't leave me - even for a week. Junkies, without their fix Go through profound withdrawal Shivers, shakes, my screams Would shatter the night Without you I pray your image never dissolves from my eyes. That the sound of your voice never fades from my ears. Even for a day. For in that time I will wander insanely Friends will despair of me. Don't wander. ~You have to have a dream so you can get up in the morning. ~ Billy Wilder |

This is wonderful, Mr. Yeats!! This does have a touch of urgency, and need, and if the person left you, she would have to be crazy!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Wil, you are great. Magnificent! Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
