Birthday Verse For A Butterfly... |

Twenty five years ago On this very grand day so, A lovely butterfly bright Took her very first flight. She came out of her cocoon Accepting life as a boon, Flying into the deep blue sky With desire to fly high. With her comforting courteousness, She brought beauty to this wilderness; As she invited other beings to fly Alongside, flapping wings of delight ~ To be close friends of the sky And join her in life's flight ~ Twenty five years today, Still spreading smiles on earth's bay With the ticking of wisening time She shines amid a starry blanket sublime. On this day, for you, O lovely butterfly, I wish clear days and deep blue skies I wish the very best ever in life, Filled with fun and joy, without any strife. I hope that you have the most beautiful experiences As you fly freely, into the clouds, forever gaining heights, I hope that you follow your dreams in azure brilliance And overcome all hurdles with your kind soul's might. A Very Happy Birthday To You! May Success And Happiness Follow You! ~ Hi friends, I am stealing away some time from my more than busy work-schedule... This is the only one I could manage to write in 3 weeks, and that too only because it was the occasion of the 25th B'day of my friend and colleague. My friend liked this one, I hope you all do too... As per my promise, I will come back soon (and that is next week at the latest, I can confirm) and read all the delightful stuff that you might have written and posted here... see ya all soon... I miss you all, My regards and best wishes, Sudhir. [This message has been edited by Sudhir Iyer (edited 10-02-2000).] |

How do you know that the day is going to be beautiful?????? You open up Passions and you see Sudhir's name on the screen, that's how. You have been missed sir and I am glad that you will be joining us again soon. What a wonderful birthday present you have penned. Excellent and now I am smiling as I have had a feast on your words once again. |

Ah Sudhir, my friend, how we've missed you! What a thrill to see your name and butterfly verse, for whatever occasion, but your friend should be thrilled to see this, as it is now memorialized in these precious blue walls of fame! Karilea When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Sudhir, Sudhir, beloved one, I'm keeping this. You should write for Hallmark. Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Sudhir, What a wonderful tribute to your friend on their birthday!!! Awesome writing!!! I am sure it was a hit. Missed seeing you around. Looking forward to more of your great poetry my friend. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
