i dont want to reach the stars-- i want to reach farther for you high above the velvet canvas that holds the milky moon... i want to bring back the smile of GOD for you to warm you HIS hands to hold you HIS heart to embrace you HIS body to shelter you i want to reach high and bring back the greatest comfort to keep you in those times when i humanly fail you-- i want to do right by you my child while teaching you how to do right-- be patient with me little one i'm learning too... -dgvarner theres no such thing as a failure who keeps trying--coasting to the bottom is the only disgrace. -j popper |

dg, What a beautiful prayer for your child; you should frame this and give it to her as a present when she is older. Very well done. - Jeff |

as a mother, I have the same wish and I think that your poem will be a great gift for your child to hang it on the wall. I can see your love and care in this little poem. |

How precious. This brought tears to my eyes, remembering mine when they were so small, and it's been about 20 years since I held one as small as the one in your lovely picture. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. Kathleen |
