I know you've heard of the Titanic, the Movie's brought this ship much fame, The loss of life was tragic But didja hear about the mayonnaise? Hellmann's Mayonnaise was from England, The Titanic had twelve thousand jars, It was lost in the sinking, And sandwich lovers grieved from afar. The whole world mourned the loss, "How would we make salads with our potatoes?" So they declared a day of mourning, And called it "Sinko de Mayo." |

For years an iceberg took the heat For the sinking of this great ship. The theory explained this tragedy at sea, And all the evidence fit. But, upon further investigation, And scenes of the aftermath. There is a new explanation, It was sunk by that rascal Toerag. A Poetry Reading aboard that ship From a book written by Toerag. Caused passenger sides to split, And the Titanic's hull to crack. Hi ya, Toe - go read some of your email. It's great to see you posting here. Are you gonna hang around long enough to read the scathing criticism your poetry elicits? [This message has been edited by LngJhnAg (edited 10-01-2000).] |

I guess it's a conspiracy Abetted by ole PIP (Perhaps it just felt sympathy And snoozed a bit to save you from me) But dear, keep on your running shoes As you post poems that shake my blues For this gal is still after youse. *G* Whatever your name, it's happy news To see a post from Gare or Toe. If the boards hadn't been so dang slow I'd have stuck around long enough to know That you were here. I'm filled with woe For I logged off, only to ignore An ever-present list of chores And think of you and miss you more... (I'll wrap this up, before you snore *G*) See what missing you does to my brain? So hurry back... avoid another refrain! *G* Thanks for the grins... it is GREAT to see you around, even if the visit is brief!!! Hurry back! |
