Silent Words Something dwelling deep inside the mind And wanting to be free to breath the air Is trapped there by the words I cannot find To write upon the page that’s waiting there I’ve lived with such sweet feelings all these years But never could I put them into words But some day through my laughter or my tears I’ll write the hidden secrets to be heard When glory hits, poetic bells will chime And unleashed phrases will so gently pour In verses that will sing a song in rhyme And live upon the page forevermore The beauty in the warbling of the birds Is hidden in the silence of my words Elizabeth Santos |

I can relate to having it there and it's trapped. Just can't seem to get it out! You've explained it with beauty Liz! ~HUGS~ <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. |

"When glory hits, poetic bells will chime And unleashed phrases will so gently pour In verses that will sing a song in rhyme And live upon the page forevermore" Beautiful Liz ... you've penned so many wonderful poems, your words truly will "live upon the page forevermore" to be read again and again. Lovely writing Liz! Best wishes, /Kit |

The silence of your mind is like music to my ears everytime I read one of your posts. I hope you continue to bring us much more of your silent words so that I can continue to fill up my library. |

Karilea, A silent "thank you" Rebecca, sometimes you have a thought and just can't put words to it. I'm glad someone knows what I'm talking about Thanks for the comments Kit, My dear twin, thank you for those words Which were not silent to my ears Sy, Always so dear a comment Mark, Thank you for wanting to keep some of my words. What a tremendous compliment Thank you Denise, You won't believe this (and don't tell Nan) , but until you meantioned it, I didn't realize that I wrote a sonnet! Thank you for recognizing it, though I will have to correct a few flaws now Thank you, oh sonnet queen Liz Nan, You've just paid the highest compliment, that something I wrote would inspire YOU to write. Thank you is all I can think to say Liz |

Janet Marie, What you write is beautiful poetry by accident, because you accidently have a beautiful heart, and inadvertantly show it's splendor in every piece you write. Please keep letting the words accidently spill onto the page just as you have been doing. And thank you for your comments Liz |

Elegant, Simply Elegant. Your silent words... They scream so loud... They scream to be heard... They stand out in a crowd... You deserve applause for this one (clapping my hands and cheering you) Garfield |

Suthern, You can't ditto JM. Nobody stomps like she does. Thanks for the lovely comments Jinxed, I see where you got the name jinxed, cause you called me Marge, but I certainly don't mind that! I wish I had her spirit and her talents. You can call me Marge any day of the week. Thanks for the comments Liz |
