Hands have wandered under covers in the valleys of front skin undergrowth only discover it luring there, ugly brown…. a strange marking a death warrant or early warning? In distance toll the bells of mortality. When did you first worm your way out? Is it by sacred irony that you chose here as your abode? Just made a new neighbour one I already loathe. Speak your intent, tell me the decay of your kiss. Your roots have anchored part of me is all of you. Oh little seed of destruction What misdeeds have I committed for you to be sown? If I wash clean, Turn to God Change to anything Will you spare my life or dignity? One touch unleashes future nightmares Surgical knifes coming to evict, Leaving me restless, leaving me…. incomplete. Time takes a new precedence, Seconds measure heartbeats an egg timer of health. In my prime, in your prime? Be gentle be benign, with one probe you seem to tremor and belly ache, maybe you are passive now but are you dormant or extinct? Just take me full heartily Not piece by piece…. Are you fatal flaw or beautiful blemish? Hold me safe not with knives out. "an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women". Patti Smith |

Brian, I truly admire when you take my mind and direct it into several different directions at once...and all before I'm fully caffeinated, too... how DO you do that?! Karilea When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Brian, are you going to college to learn how to put sentences together... I wouldn't bother, you already know how to do that in such a breathtaking and astonishing way it constantly amazes me. Amazing poem. A writer to my own heart. I love the abstract ideology, the jumping from theme to theme, the deep metaphors. How very inspiring! ~"Eschew Surplusage"~ -Mark Twain |

Mr. B, I'm reminded of a car accident I was in years back... mostly the pain of recovery. This one drew me in-terest. Nice read. dale Writing, isn't just something I do... it's something I am... To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my greatest delight... |

I have just gone through a similar experience. Major breast surgery to discover if it was cancer or just pre-cancer. Just found out the news today - it's not cancer! I hope you recover quickly, and completely. The spiritual wind that holds survivors aloft, plants the seeds from which bloom new hope ... R.J.G. |
