easy darkness! enrapturing~~ sickened silence, songs don't sing... a legate's ring... that I, who once held everything... blew it all away... a wish (I wish) it all away... I begged. I pled. I stayed to stay. I live forgive another day, and pray my feet will walk away... and dance, amongst the sands... I'll stay. to be alive... to breathe... I pray, and live, to write another day. i think my fav thing about all your poems is they way i always have to read them twice. why? there's so much trapped in-between the words and lines that i never catch on the first go round. this one was no different. i think you made the right choice, and i'm glad you have your writing to compel you back. as always, well penned. Everyone's got their demons. We all got somethin' to atone for. |
