To Wesley My Love By: Abra Seelig Today we unite again, Wesley my love You have been truly sent down from above! You stayed true to me, though remained far away, And I know that indeed in my heart you did stay. I woke from a dream last night Wesley my love. I dreamt of us riding on wings of a dove. The pearly white softness so fair and so deep Just made me want to go right back to sleep. To sleep I did go again, and you returned To make me forget of the days that I yearned For Wesley my love, my one knight most true. You know all I want is to be near to you. When we do meet again later today I’ll forget all the days that you were away. I wait for you now, please love don’t be late, But also don’t worry, I’m happy to wait. So when you come back to me, Wesley my love, Do wake me from dreaming before you unglove, So that I may see you, most dear to my heart And spend every second with you ‘fore we part.
