Being a poet Is drooling at times and excruciatingly so Sometimes the words don't come out so clearly, ,sometimes you think you feel a bit quizzy, just trying to find words to put on the paper, Sometimes we draw lines instead of write words sometimes we make little smiley faces and oh how so cute! Poetry comes from deep within ,and so often we are spared the feelings that we share to each other, we do write hoping the words will be a delight, Sometimes the words don't come so easy sometimes they come much to quickly leaving us lost in a daze but whatever the reason it is that I write I have to present this and keep up the fight. For even if the words are not magic upon this paper they are magic to my soul. |

So true! It's not always easy, but it is so personally rewarding when the words all come together, isn't it? Denise |

Rosebud, No one ever said poetry was easy. It is a struggle at times, but the effort is worth it when our words touch another's heart. That is the best reward we can receive as poets. This was neat!! Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Rosebud... You know....the very last 2 lines of this wonderful poem are so very powerful, that all I can say is.....Keep writing, keep writing, for you have the magic inside!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
