Behind a mask

daily dramas ever engaging
behavior. Attempting an interface with the
mind through passages of grief. Especially since
an amount of time has elapsed. Your to the point
of being grieved even by sensitive consolations
and compassion's within the wells of other
peoples’ thoughtless insights which
they’ve conveniently arranged
into memorized, thought
provoking sagacities,
which they feel an
irresistible urge to
project at you on the
behalf of pities sake, how
sweet. After all it’s all been so
neatly arranged & conveniently dropped

on your tiring worn sole as you search for some
grateful words that scream, I mean seemed, to have
just escaped you. So, you white—wash a sigh... in
an effort not to show any glimpses of your hearts
ungratefulness, however your real inspiration
is to say “why don’t you just ****off"!

but instead, to keep the
conversational tone
interesting and
sex—tasteless,

not to mention mangling some
body else's folk-loring mythological
emotions, you hide your maze a little
deeper and grit your teeth a little
harder while angrily saying
with a smile,

“thank—ka U very much,”

while all the thirsty time
your thinking of saying “that’s
it, I’m outta here.” Instead... Your
pondering mind begins to wonder
why they’re so in-quisitive of
your down heartedness.

You search for
something
insightfully
insignificant but
are instead are interrupted
by these intersperses of “slimy”

dry poignant articulately propelled humors
from out of the side of someone’s red neck
which you follow with a smile because
one of the wander—clustered
idiots is flashing some
scientifically
intellectual
witty jargons.
Yet howbeit, the women
who are present are nodding but
surely don’t understand a word that’s been
said, as either do you, so they return to, and carry
on a conversation about other worlds in which their
hearers know or could ever know anything of not
to mention ever understand. While returning
to your—so senseless ponderings

“when..!”

suddenly everyone is standing up
and shaking hands with each other, smiling,
flashing crooked sympathetic questioning frowns and
saying “we’ll see ya later and do this all again soon.” You
wonder, why..? Maybe possibly you hurt somebody's fragile
tactless schizophrenic dual personality... After which, every
one was gone. You decide it may be a good ider if you
take your own blood pressure and pulse just to see
how your doing. Wow..! 190 over 133, your
pulse is at an all time low of 49. You
suddenly wonder how much
more you’ll have to
give, I mean
live. Oh
well,
one
stroke,
two pokes,

electric thrills, three
pills, wham! asleep
on a cluttered
hill.

Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am.
To write of feelings that touch all hearts in some manner is my delight.

lucky...sometimes you are so real...and it hurts to see even myself through your eyes...as people just try and sometimes don't suceed in being human, or perhaps suceed too well....compassion comes from being there.

This is a very deep and introspective poem.  Well written, and poignant.
