~~ MIRAGE ~~ < !signature-->Miltonic Sonnet Mystic sands, dance in the midnight breeze sensuous thoughts, flow like a waterfall haunting echoes, of a coyotes call wishing on a star, thoughts begin to tease moonlight and whispers, begin to appease your voice in the wind, leaves me enthrall whispers of the desert, my heart is in awe song of the ravens and whip-poor-wils please beneath an umbrella of diamonds reflection of you haunts the tawny sands the mirage of you, stalks the desert sun love in the morning, holding my hand although the prickly pear castus i shun our love blooms, in this Apache plume land A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 11-13-2000).] |

Victoria... This is absolutely beautiful! And it reminds me of the warmth of the Southwestern desert, which I do appreciate right now!! Follow your dream! |
