I am late. I am lost. I am hate. I am cost. I am tears. I am smile. I am fears. I am, reviled. I'm but the growth in petri dish-- the evolutionary fish... I am the "x" not factored in-- the unexpected silly grin... and you, if all should be refined, you, if terms should be defined, YOU you are my love, my find-- YOU escaping my confines YOU... the essence of my cry the painful hurt of wonder why... (If only...) lonely havoc's wreak (If only...) lonely words to speak If only, we could meet again... YOU my love, I'd kiss your cheek, and not another pleasure seek... I'd be content to call you friend-- my love, a secret of my sigh... |

Wonderful structure Serenity just a great poem I love the word play it is so sharp and clean and cleverly done and it impresses the message of the poem on the mind of the reader so emphatically......ethome |

As first I wasn't sure where you were going with this, or if I wanted to chance the repetition... but in the end the rhythm not only fit… it makes this verse.
