"My Friend" There's something about you that makes me smile I guess its your personality, your special something, your "style" You're a straight shooter, speak from your heart I hope we're forever friends, and never part Whenever I am feeling down or blue You cheer me up, I can always depend on you You make me laugh, you make me smile I forget my troubles, at least for a little while I am glad we are friends, you pick me up when I am down And just know when to be there for me and come around You have a big huge heart, and your friendship shines in your eyes My wish for you is to be surrounded always by beautiful sunny skies Whenever you need a friend, just call on me I promise to be there for you, whatever you may need Amy M. A beautiful writing of what friendship can be. So often they can be taken for granted. I think I love this most because it reminds us how much a true friend should be cherished. Nice job with this! To capture and live a moment is truly living |
