I shall tell you
of little things
that endear my heart
to you.

That place beneath
your eyes,
tender soft spot,
I love to kiss.

Never do we walk
side by side,
that you don't reach
to hold my hand.

Always at night,
you have my ice water
by the bed.

If I ask for a back tickle,
you will oblige by the hour,
with tenderness and love,
overwhelming is your patience.

I see adoration
in your eyes.
I feel cherished,
and adored.

Most of all you listen.
You hear me,
you know me.
Nothing is too small
that I say,
that you don't find
fascinating.

You respect my intelligence,
and honor my needs.
I am blessed,
to be loved by you.
