I know the hollows of your heart the whispers whine of voice not there-- I take your hand and kiss your palm stigmata gone-- no wound to wear. I know the quiver of your eyes when you are weeping out of time I know your heart beats time with mine I know you cry in search of rhyme-- I know you. You are everywhere... I know you, and I feel you there. Rest you, now. I'll watch. You sleep. Rest you, now. I will dream deep... Rest you, I will keep you safe. Caress you, love you, watch you wake. |

Is this about some person that we all know, or more of a personal thing going on? I get a Son of God thing going a little bit with the first stanza, but I always need clarification before I decide that I am right. Unless, of course, we decide that I am God and therefore always right...but in that case this poem would be about my son. And since I don't have any sons, we'll just imagine that I am not God. *grins* I should shut up about that before I get someone mad at me. Anyways, I like what you wrote, it was very thought provoking for me. Thankyou for that. |

All of the above...thank you so much, for the best reply I've had in ages...ah..and if you're looking for things of that nature..do see, "A God Defiled"---I've no idea where it is now..lol..don't think I even saved it meself...and that's sort of ironic too. |
