Autumn fading,
November month,
As this night,
The breeze is cooler.
Step outside with feet in the nude,
And feel the sharp grasp,
Of dropping temperature,
Assisted by,
A romping wind.
That wind has been playing all day,
Stomping the treetops,
And teasing wildly,
With mischievious fingers,
Playing like a child,
In every head of hair in the county.

My name isn't Baby, and I don't want to cyber.

oh no...this is not hitting page 2 yet!
i love the picture you've created in
my mind...you've given the wind a
   personality all it's own.
   wonderful!

Hey, babe.  I betcha if I stepped outside in the nude right now, I would fall over from shock.  It's is frickin cold here, yo.  I forgot what twenty degrees felt like.  And boy it's a good thing I don't have a car since last night's wonderful car accident, cause I'd probably drive to Mexico so I could warm up.  LOL

A perfect November poem. We are all feeling the "grasp of dropping temperatures", which you describe so wonderfully
Loved this

Good morning, sunshine girl !
I hope your dropping temperatures
don't come my way anytime soon.
Make mine warm and toasty.

Ever step in the snow with no shoes on?? Brrrrrr. . . but it's strangely refreshing. . .

This reminds me of that feeling. . .

vlraynes:
Thank you for saving it from the void!   The wind has its own personality, and I love trying to describe it.

Walt:
Thanks!

Snowpants:
I'm glad you enjoyed the images!   I love creating images!

Masked Intruder:
HIYA SWEETIE! How is it that I always miss you these days?   I wish it was colder here. I know I'll be sorry for saying that sooner or later, but I'd like to have a cold Christmas this year instead of a mildy warm one. Geesh..You had a car accident? You just HAVE to e-mail me. PLEASE?

tracie:
Thank you for enjoying the poem, and November is a beautiful month. Sometimes overlooked I think.

Elizabeth:

Robert:
WOw!   I definetely agree! Thanks for reading!

Sven:
I'm glad you liked it! LOL! Hmm..in the snow without shoes..Well, it wasn't deep snow, but my feet made their way to warmth pretty quick! Maybe its refreshing AFTER the sting wears off?
