I was once in heaven one silent cool winter day,
and I saw you there waiting on my best,
in a soft shield of tenderness.
We were wrapped in satin sheets
and could hear our heartbeats talk
and I reached for you and smiled.
Then I imagined we were in a timeless stream
and that we we're an endangered king and queen.
This filled the image with fear.
The fact that we we're superior and noble but so afraid.
Did we have servants of the kind loyal type
and if so, where were they?
Suddenly! I was taken with shock as
the worst of the servants, an evil bard
was quoting the first bard's black MacBeth
while holding a sword above your neck!
I reached for you across the bloody bed
and screamed at the world!....
I woke up!
beside my favourite girl.
You gave me smiling looks and reached to stroke my face,
soft strokes, long and smooth, full of lazy love.
For all our years you'd proved yourself a lady.
You whispered in my ear, familiar love,
you said, "come to me, I'm going crazy!"

I pulled you to my chest and tried to kiss your words,
now I'm going crazy!
or is this still a dream?
Now here, I manage to know I'm raising up to roam the meadow,
so I can't be dreaming....
and as I pressed hard I heard you say,
"come to me, I'm going crazy!"

I could feel the flames of passion devouring my thighs
as your velvet skin lay exposed before me,
the fire within blazing hot!
A droopy eyed smile filled your face.
Suddenly! you're in my arms, your wine flavoured tongue probing mine.
and then I hear you loud and clear
"The kids are late for school!!"
I wake up to see my favourite girl.
"The kids are late for school!!" she says,
half smiling like she knew where we'd just been.

Touching on so many aspects of your life in one little writing.  You are my new hero for the next ten minutes!  *grins*  I'm going to go see if I can put so many pictures into one page of writing.

this is so darn sweet and adorable...
that I almost didnt notice the lack of E-rhymes
what a sincere lil' gem this is...
aint it funny how life gets in the way *smile* ...
I love looking at love and life thru your  eyes...
things are so much more poetic

Beautifully done! I love the way you weave between reality and the dreamlike fantasy (is it really a dream?) of life.

Thanks for the comments Janet....it's just me experimenting with different styles and loving the creative avenues there is to travel......more relaxing enjoyment almost like the first cup of coffee in the morning......thanks again...ethome

Thanks Charisma you can relate to the kids part, well that's great, especially if you've been wakened from a wonderful dream to find out things are going behind in reality.

Thanks rascal for the reply to this poem... no it's not a personal situation...just something I saw in a dream...thanks again.

Ethome--glad that I found this wonderful gem...with pieces of your life so well cemented on a dream...made me smile in memory of similar happenings in my own life.

ethome--

this was very creative and seems i'm
not the only one who has a "big huge
heart". your dream girl is very lucky
whether it be dream or reality. excellent
poem! take care.

Ethome, this is a magical quality, that took me with you for the dream. I really love this one, it's full of love, and dreams. Beautiful, and then the reality kicks in and that's lovely too.
Take care
