My name you whispered in the wind,
that blew across the sea…
You stood upon the landings end,
and sent your love to me…

Your thoughts were sent within my name,
of how you love me true…
And wishes that I feel the same…
To make your dreams come true…

Across the ocean, here I stand…
I wait with open heart…
I hold my love within my hand,
to send you back a part…

The wind has whispered in my ear,
your words, with all your love…
And from my eye there falls a tear…
Seen by our God above…

Upon the wind, our whispers fly,
to meet and join as one…
One love, as free-birds in the sky…
Our flight has just begun…

Sunny, seems like everyone is whispering softly of late...

this is lovely, but we expect nothing else from an artist such as yourself...

Great poem here Sunny.. loved the mental images you painted with words. The wind is always such a poet's gift because it can't be seen but the effects of it can be felt so strongly. It's a wonderful vehicle for mystery and magical expression and you used it very well here...very good!!!

I thank you, my friend....I love to read your thoughts also, in poems or replies. We think alike, as I have always appreciated the mystical force of the wind and Nature in general.

Another beautiful poem, Sunny. Can love really travel on the winds, do you think?

Yes.....it can. All one has to do is open their heart to it. The wind is like time...it is there, but we can't control it, nor can we change it......it is beyond human reach, but touches us, nonetheless! Thank you!!

Oh, I am so glad that I could help you to feel love today......that, to me, is the best part of writing. You get back so much more than you put in, it seems! Thank you!

~~~ Victoria ~~~
Thank you, and also for being one who 'feels' what I am trying to say. That is especially important to me.....so I value your work and your replies very much!
Ah....I see you are an insightful person, and I thank you for getting the clear picture that I and my muse sometimes hide within the words.  Poetry, to me, is like a good detective story....there's always more there than meets the eye, and it's for the reader to find!!  Thank you!!
As a matter of fact, I write and perform songs, and I thought this one would maybe make a nice addition to my stage material. What kind of music do you like to play?
I just knew there had to be a song writer in you. I would definatly use this as a basis for a song. As far as the music I like to play, any thing from Stevie Ray to Stevie Nicks I dont mind as long as theres a check in it lol.
Lovely, and with the pictures you have added for effect, make it Absolutely Lovely!
One suggestion, as I read this,
"Seen by our God above" I find that it reads good without the 'our' in it.
With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
Yes....I know how getting the check in music goes!!  And I play a bit of everything, too, on my synth.....even some techno.  (Love Stevie Ray, and any blues.)  Oh, thank you for liking this one...I enjoy writing songs!
Sometimes the softness spoken from our hearts carries the furthest, you are right.
I thank you so much, my friend.....
~~~ Kethry ~~~
So good to see you today! And I'm really glad that you enjoyed this poem...

~~~ Interloper ~~~
It's ok if you missed it,  because you're here now!! Good to see you, and thank you!!
~~~ Dragonpoe ~~~
I appreciate the suggestion, but I left the 'our' in as it signifies the two seperated lovers sharing everything from whispers to the same God. But thank you...I'm always open to suggestions!!
