Deep in the heart

0 posted 2000-11-07 04:08 PM

If I could harness the moon’s glow, I’d put it in your eyes.
If I could capture the sunlight, I’d put it in your hair.
If I could reach the stars, I’d make a bracelet for your wrist.
If I could gather all the love in existence, I’d put it in your heart.

If I could . . . I would.

Love is.

Just the desire to do these lovely things is poetry in itself. A very sweet composition, thank you  ~

this is so delicate and sincere
so much expressed and painted with a few perfectly chosen lines...
in the case of this gem...
less is much more
simply beautiful.
welcome to passions...so nice to meet you
take care

that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts -
that need to be loved this much.

Beautifully said in so few words.

Interloper~

If you could see my eyes, I'd show you the moonglow within them......

If you could see my hair,I'd show you the sunlight flowing through it.......

If you could reach the stars, I'd ask you to keep them free.......

If you could just feel my heart, you would know all the love in existance........

I'd love it, if you could.

I loved this poem!!   -SEA

I am almost speachless.  Tears tug at my eyes.  I feel almost inadequate compared to the verse you share with us.

Butterflies don't cry - Consider it a gift from me.

Kit - thank you.

James, thanx

Coco-Baci, yore 1derful.

Vickie - Thank you

Rainydays - Desire is the foundation of poetry.

Janet Marie - I am still recovering from reading your ode to DeVante.  You are incredible.

Ron - Maybe those economics classes in college worked. D'ya think?

Spiked - Thank you

SEA - Sweet, wonderful SEA.  We will let the stars shine where they are.  And I CAN feel your heart... honest I can.

Love is.

Now here is an example of love..Why is it that only poets think like this?
Beautiful poem.
