Deep in the heart

Your ready smile lights up your face
And warms my heart with its happy glow.
A beautiful lady with class and grace
That makes my life blossom and grow.

Your tender touch upon my cheek
Sends a charge through my very being.
Your gentle voice caresses ‘til I’m weak
With desire, you to be seeing.

You listen while I speak at length
As though my words were nourishing you.
All the while enabling, giving me strength
To worship you … and, dear, I do.
