It's a letter I wrote, But never sent; It's a tear that swelled, But never fell. I always longed To free these emotions, But knew they'd Only push you further. It's a falling star That I never wished on; It's a tune in my head That never found its way Through these lips. These walls know, But they'd never tell the tale Of the heartache within. It'll always be When I have an idea, Not a pen will be found. When the time is right, The song in my heart Will be allowed To illuminate your world. I won't go, I won't sleep, I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |
