You left me with no cigarettes
When you locked me in the house
You don’t like my addictions
So you took away the mouse

Oh my goodness! What’s missing now!
Alas, the Halloween candy
There’s a lock on the liquor box
When I went to pour some brandy

Unfolded clothes stacked on the bed
So I can’t sleep the day in bliss
The writing paper I saw you shred
So my poetry I must miss

With withdrawal pains nagging me
How am I to clean and cook
You hid my vices darn real well
And only left me self-help books

Well of course you took your body
I’m addicted to that a bunch
But I know I’ll get these things real soon
Because you’re coming home for lunch

Hey Walt, I'll tap on the window twice then pass in the beer and cig's.  Halloween candy's gone though...maybe some writing paper and a pencil or two.  Other than that,
ya gotta wait till noon...you're not my type!

Where DO you come up with this stuff? Yet again, an amusing, witty piece of awesome poetry.

Grinning.
Your humour is good stuff Walt...

I might be persuaded to say 'yuh' even

Hilarious, Walt! I might withhold "lunch" until at least the writing paper and mouse are returned!

Thanks for the read!
