Firstly thank you SEA, if it wasn't for you I'd never have written this. And to all you others who don't know the story this is an explaination. What's In A Name? Let me explain to you all about my name And how calling me can turn into quite some game It's not that my name is so hard at all No, it's more that calling me becomes a role call The reasons are very simple, easy as can be Look I'll explain just what everyone else calls me My first name is Marsha which is very good But it's not responsible, it doesn't sound like it should So for work I use one of my other three names At work when I'm sitting at my desk, playing desk games So I'm Beverley which sounds so bright But Beverley is no fun it doesn't feel nice and light On my computer when I'm wishing to impress I use Grace which has such an air of style and dress But Grace along with Beverley I dislike intensely Grace isn't me, she doesn't crash the puter consistently Then there's Melody who's always up for a lark Melody isn't very bright, just as well she loves the dark Then there are nicknames and I've got a few Bubbles say my close friends is because from their veiw Bubbles is exuberant she always sees the joke Rather excitable is our Bubbles like a fizzy glass of coke As for Chaos, that's the name my sisters call me It explains itself and I think that even I would agree I've been called Scatty which describes me true Scatty because of getting lost and being behind the queue But the one I prefer it suits me very well indeed Was chosen by my friend SEA seems she sowed this seed She named me Mushy she says it's because I'm soft Also warm too, so what if I've got precious little in my loft For any of you who can't see the joke here at all That's a Kentish expression meaning I'm a bit of a fool It's not surprising that I'm so very often muddled With all these different names I get just a bit befuddled So Mushy Marsha on these blue pages I'll be Now Passions people will know what to call if they want me. Mushy Marsha (SEA hope you enjoy this one, it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Take care Love Mushy) Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 11-06-2000).] |

Mistress Majestic....is what you'll be to me... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Marsha~ Well ... that would confuse me ... but I'm easily confused ... Well, at least I'd be confused if I knew who I was and then who would let me know I'm confused. Then on the other hand ... if you see me ... let me know who I am or was or will be ... Sweetie ... we love ALL EIGHT of you ! And THEN there's Perfectly-Wonderful-and-Funny-Poetess Marsha! She's a HOOT ... Oh, No ... there's already a HOOT~ and she's a hoot ! Thanks for getting me out of an obviously dull and dreary report that I didn't want to do on a Monday ! LOL ! Now it's time for lunch ! Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Kari, Oh love, Majestic, surely not, I'm always dropping things. Perhaps I should put another verse in < !signature-->Kari calls me Majestic, she means in the sweetest way But I'll never be majestic who me? Now that'll be the day I have always been a bit accident prone You should have heard all six of my sisters moan It's no wonder they called me Chaos, that's a loving term With me there everything just will always crash and burn. Marge, I know just plain befuddled, glad it makes you smile. It does me too. Thank you soooooooo muchly, and I love being here. Victoria thank you that's really kind of you. Don't think you'd get another me, (and the the world sighs with relief.) And all my sisters to a woman joins in the sigh. Sven, Sybil? How? And so am I Sven so am I Take care Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 11-06-2000).] |

SEA, well I hoped love, I couldn't hope to match the polished phrases of Mark, so I did one of my fun poems. (Besides, if I tried polished poems to you they'd end up all ascew) that wasn't supposed to rhyme, now I'm doing it all the time. Okay I'll stop. and I'm pleased it brought a big grin. Take care love Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
