Don't call me back into the day
Please can't you allow me to stay
Don't make me leave you this night
I don't want to leave your light

Don't make me leave your arms
I want to stay away from harm
Don't turn me to face this life
I can't live again with the strife

Don't put me in the line of pain
I can't go through it once again
Don't smile at me it's not fair
I will want you, need you there

Don't look at me with your eyes
I can't leave you, I can't I sigh
Don't stroke my face just like this
I'll turn again beg for your kiss

Don't ask me to ignore my heart
I don't want ever for us to part
Don't fill my soul with love divine
I'll want to turn my back on time

Don't ask me to deny what I feel
I won't be able to play that deal
Don't plead for a kiss of loves flame
If I touch you now I'll burn the same

Don't leave me burning like this
All I need is your precious kiss
Don't stroke my thigh this way
I don't want to return to the day

Mushy Marsha

Marsha, you certainly picked an excellent poet to help you with your inspiration...I certainly enjoyed it!

Jwesley, Glad you liked it, and thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't deserve it,   but thanks anyway. Still if you want to see some really beautful work, just dip into Kari's (Sunshine) or Kit's work they beat my bits into a cocked hat. They both have class and a half, and as for Mark's well I'm in awe. Go enjoy some of the really great work here at Passions. Take care.

Oh Kit love, that is so lovely of you, I'm glad you liked it. Truly I thank you.
Kit love you are a genuine gem, and remember if you need me, just whistle. and if you can't, wave at me. Look after yourself love

Marsha,
Mark asked me to give you his reply to this,
he is sorry he missed it in him limited time in here this afternoon ...
so hot off the phone here is his reply:

"first off my dear president, you do stand on own quite well. Especially as of late.
I am truly honored that my poem inspired you
to write a piece this wonderful,
and being the fact that my inspiration came from another poet shows how one poet can really affect the moods and feelings of others.
Thank you so much for you, and all you do
to make me smile everyday."
Hugs to you
Mark.
===============
and while Im here let me add my compliments to this lovely sensual poem.
I relate to this well...the longing.
beautiful words.
take care

Mark my dear friend, this is so typical of you, although you have such limited time you take the time to give encouragement to me. And I thank you, I guess I'm like so many others I never think my stuff is worthy, ever. The the most I ever like is just a couple of lines. I have said before, and I will say it many times, I am the fortunate one for living in a world crammed full of utterly wonderful brilliant writers. The poets here, every single one of them are of a surerior class, they are so giving of praise, and providers of beauty. You my dear friend are so full of all the qualities that make this a unique and special place. So know that I thank you, for the inspiration, and for the beauty.
Thank you isn't adequate, but know it comes from my soft mushy heart.

JM, I'm really thankful for you to have given me Marks reply, and I so pleased that you like this. It's one of my softer poems, the longing is indeed what I was trying to portray, so I'm glad it came through.

SEA, thank you love, you are far too sweet to me. And I thank you, I try is all I can say. It's not that I don't like my stuff, but it's more that everyone else seem so much better. Being sane, (although sometimes I wonder) I know that no one should compare poems because each stands on it's own. However it doesn't stop the thoughts, I will try SEA I promise I will try. Okay!
Take care

Ah, but I am already a regular reader of both  Sunshine and Kit, as I'm sure they know, but that doesn't change my feel of you.

Jwesley, then I thank you twice, and I'm pleased that you enjoyed this. I'm really flattered, truly.

Charisma, thank you for your fidelity, and I am glad that you like this. I seem to have been inspired of late, and these poems are the result of that inspiration. So it's to my man I give my thanks.
Take care
