I've fallen hard and that's the truth I thought I'd never feel again Never put all of me out there Never let anyone inside my fences Yet here I am with no walls at all I built them with bricks cemented with fear But now that you've come into my life They all fell down; did you hear that sound The sound of your voice makes me smile One look from you and I melt inside Your slightest touch makes me tremble I long for the consumation of this No reservations, no holding back I'm putting it all out there again Following my heart and not my head Whatever comes, you're worth the risk No one has ever made me feel like this Pepper "I honor the place in you, that when you are in that place, and I am in that place in me, we are in the same place" Ram Dass |

When a person gets hurt they really tend to be quite guarded and it's hard to come out of that but I thought you expressed this wonderfully here and I could feel your nervousness within the lines and also your courage to give it one more try.....if this applies to you personally then I wish you the best!! This is a very good honest poem!! |

I love the message in this one you've penned for us, getting over all the fears is the hardest thing in the world... unless you have no choice  Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |

There are so many poems out here but this one I had to respond to. RELATE so well. That wall seems to build so easy but getting past that wall is hard to do. Be carefull young poet and go with the heart. (I need to learn that myself) Know that there is a reason for everything. Wish you well and lots of love an joy. |
