last moon of narcissus

again, night waters grow dark with the sky
awaiting his friend of reflection's own eye
and together, they shine for hours on end
one smile, one ripple, to each they send
their silence is secret, except for the moon
who hears their quiet and remains marooned
up in the sky -- night's twins on his mind
never to tell of a love born blind
for dawn's awakening, too soon it arrives
one smile, one ripple, one self-love dies

ah, the graphic art of penning art...

you did this, and you did it quite well, indeed.

I like it, can you tell?

M.A., what an excellent interpretation. Classic, somewhat mystic, really cool.

MAMiller~
Absolutely enchanting.
The grapic and the poem go together so well.
Applauding here.
