Dream Lover

Dreams those smoky misty fragments that swirl
Leaving traces through my mind, memories twirl
Spinning me around, sending me running for sighs
Oh for my spirit to once again soar into the sky

In my dreams, Loves' sweet breath fans my cheek
Showing me, guiding me towards the goal I seek
We meet here in the same place every dreamy night
Your eyes are calling me, bringing me your light

Sensuous, velvet touch of lips and hands combine
To trap me forever here, never wasting our time
You and your love is something to which I cling
And your smile, it lifts my heart, makes me zing

Slowly, as the dream moves ever on, each touch
Takes me higher, to lovers place I miss so much
With flames of love licking at my dreaming mind
I wonder blissfully, where or when you I'll find

I know that one day all my dreams will come true
That eventually, if I don't give up I will find you
My dream lover, who lifts me forever up on high
I'll find you, until then my heart will hold a sigh

Seems to me that someone has turned the heat down to simmer. A night like this could go from simmer to boiling in a heartbeat.
Wonderful poem

Marge, That's my favourite line too. Thank you sooooooo much.

Kari, it's the soft sizzle, before the heat turns up. I need the temperature to change, otherwise how will he know when the flames are ready to re ignite.
Thanks love glad you liked it

Alan, Mmmmm now a nice gentle raosting before I start to really burn again. And my man and I will really start the home fires burning.
Glad you like this, and thanks for replying.

Martie, thank you, I'm happy you liked it. It seems either mushy or it's hot with me, I must get my thermostat looked at!

Ron K, Mmmm are you sure you're old enough to view these dreams? They definitely wouldn't get a certificate from our censors.
I'm pleased that you like this, you do don't you?

Juls, he's definitely out there, so all we have to do is keep looking. Actually I've found mine, so yours must be there too.

Pepper, Oh I will and I do.   Mmmmm delightful dreams, and the action replays are just as good, of even better.

Kethry, I'm pleased you like this one, this is warming up nicely before the next course.
Now I must stop that all this talk of food is making me hungry.
And you can just guess with whom I'll be tonight.
That's right, in fact I think he's waiting for me right now.
