thinking you can ...

to sit;
in the corner of a circle’s round.
to serve;
in the slavery of freedom found.
to suffer;
in the chill of a summer's fire.
to wallow;
in the thin of a thick mud’s mire.
to sorrow;
in the joyous good-byes of hello.
to hear;
the noise of a silent bellow;
to bask;
in the days of night’s alight.
to love;
in the hate to our world’s delight.

from these
find defiance
not from the doing
but thinking you can
continue pursuing
