To Touch your heart

To touch your heart would be to kiss your eyes
To sip from mystic pool that in them lies
To dip into the mirrored wells of you
And know the self behind the eyes of blue

To know your heart would be to sense your mind
And savor all the fantasies I’d find
Discovering the richness of your thought
And purity of splendid words it’s wrought

To touch your heart is hearing songs unsung
One drop of honey sweet upon my tongue
Enough to know the taste of honeycomb
The vibrancy of you that’s still unknown

I would do anything for just one glance
Into the heart that makes my spirit dance
Before the force of life draws us apart
Allow me in to touch your gentle heart

And a valid "bump up" it was, well woven and sincere.

Liz,

This is so deeply moving, truely beautiful. I sigh as well, know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Elizabeth - how gentle this writing is, and how softly you wrote it. I like it, very much.

Elizabeth,
You've painted the colors of angel wings
A brilliance full of beautious things.
Where I for one would surely fly.
But all I can is sadly lie.
