If it makes him happy, I’d cry because he’s with someone else. If it makes him happy, I’d watch him love another. If it makes him happy, I’d die to not have to see, The way he loves someone, That isn’t me. If it makes him happy, I’d swim the seas, Just to see his smiling face. If it makes him happy, I’d climb over mountains high. If it makes him happy, I’d die. If it makes him happy, I’d drown in my own tears. Because If it makes him happy, I’d do anything. I’d learn to love another, And pretend that I don’t care. When deep down I’m hurting, And I want nothing more, Than to feel his touch, That belongs to another. But only, If it makes him happy. |

Sounds like a tragic love story,, but maybe even bordering on co-dependence... If not then it makes a good case for it anyway.. good theme Ooops! and welcome to Passions! Actually wrote this one for the way a friend was feeling, but found it true to my own life shortly after. But that was some time ago. Thanks for the positive feedback! |
