When I was a little girl My Nana would read the most marvelous stories to me. Stories about lands far away. Mystical creatures that legends have been made from. She would sprinkle fairy dust on my head and say”Come with me my granddaughter. Let’s explore and travel to these places in our minds.” Happily Ever Afters. Those were my favorites. So began my journey of finding my Happily Ever after. I am a little Princess Looking for my Love Bending down upon me knees I pray to the stars above. Help me find My Knight A Prince who will be true A Pauper who is honorable This I ask of you. The stars they glittered Shone bright up in the sky I sat there and I wondered If they would even try. As the years went by me Not a answer was ever heard Praying to the stars above Became really quite absurd No Longer am I a Princess Just woman with a dream To find My Happily Ever After I felt hopeless so It seemed. Then I found this Teddy Bear and I had to hug him Tight In his eyes I saw the Love I knew this was so right. Tonight bending down upon my knees I thank the stars above For they answered all my prayers And sent me My True Love. -------------- You got to get up every morning with a smile on your face and show the world all the love in your heart Then people are gonna treat you better You're gonna find, yes you will That your beautiful as you feel.~~~ Carol King |

I can see your Nana sitting next to you as she reads. Lovely verse from you. |
