Standing ‘pon the edge of moon < !signature-->Cosmic fluids rushing downward A silver’d blood softly bathing My somber, life-weary eyes. Sliding through the crevices Caught between this mortal clock I fade from all redundancy And meld with sparkled night. Whispers lost to distant twilight Fall clearly against my ears The clutter plaguing saffron sunshine Now brushed away from this eve. Your face...stamped across the dark A cool breath to my dying soul... Standing ‘pon the edge of moon I cry in streams of pearled starlight Wanting to unite with you On living earth and eternal plain... So from the edge of moon...I jump... falling gently back together...and back to us. *Krista Knutson* "One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar." I loved the images you used in this poem, a kind of bright night picture that I liked muchly. I also thought highly of those last two lines. Loved this one much, sweetheart ![]() Abrahm Simons "I'm not sick, but I'm not well, and I'm so hot, cause I'm in Hell." - Harvey Danger |

I thank you all so much for your kind words and especially to you Marge for pointing out those teeny spelling errors. ![]() *Krista Knutson* "One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar." Helen Keller |

So from the edge of moon...I jump... falling gently back together...and back to us. Beatufil ending to a beautiful poem, I was floating the whole read Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. R. fox |
