Slender as a spider's Fine as a silkworm's Stronger than a vine's As powerful as a liner's anchor Strings of togetherness, strings of love From the umbrilical cord Attached to a mother's bond Our life begins the journey Of many strings, joined in a web The web of life from birth to death As we walk and weave our way Through life's challenges The momentum of each move we make Is a millimetre, further joining Each and every string of our journey Strings of parenthood Strings of childhood friends Strings of games and learning Strings of tears and pain Strings of love and joy Joining into one web At the core from every angle Attached by each move, each experience Is you the string weaver The task of maintaining each broken string Entirely your responsibility As more and more strings break Embrace each day with grace and dignity Work harder to rejoin the strings And begin the length of another Until the string to Heaven Reaches your soul. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

Daniel JD, I believe in the fortification of these strings, these strands of togetherness, as well. What a unique way in which to urge us to handle them with care. A lovely piece of writing! Thank you ~ Rainydays |

JanetMarie, and Snowpants, Kind thank you for your replies. Life is a string, it is joined at two ends, birth and death. However, in between that string produces many branches each interconnected with each other. It is a passage. What a lovely tapestry you have woven here!!! Pepper "I honor the place in you, that when you are in that place, and I am in that place in me, we are in the same place" Ram Dass |
