Lighthouse Bob, hello. I've enjoyed this poetic tale of love's loss, grief and renewed grace and brilliant how you've used the sun's stages to depict emotion. Wonderful writing! Rainydays |

A very clever way to depict the roller coaster of emotions you have shown here. Great job Bob. Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. R. fox |

inot2B, yesUB... as you say. Thanks for the sunshine. Rainydays, I appreciate you too... We all need a little rain mixed in with the "summer sun" for the flowers to grow. Thank you. Ron, Thanks and You are right; life can be a rollercoaster ride at times... but it's a heck of fun. [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (edited 10-30-2000).] |

BOB ... Mark asked me to give you his reply to this as he is in the middle of moving and is off-line for a bit.... he read this before and I read it to him now over phone and these are his words ... (BOB) ...this is a very lovely and tender poem it is so nice when our faith and trust in God allows us to make it thru the sad times, knowing in the end we will feel the warmth of the sun and see all the colors of the rainbows again. you have penned a real beauty in this one. sorry it took me so long to get here. may God bless Mark. =============== and while Im here i would like to add my compliments to this well written poem.. it has a wonderful flow and cadence to it well expressed emotions. take care jm |

Great to see you in the Open! This is such a moving poem and I feel the loss, I'm thankful for the sun each day because it gives us another chance. Without that, nothing would be felt or written! Janet Marie, I thank you for your brief analysis... Some poems start out as music and some end up that way... with cadense. That was the case with this peom. Mark, What I think you said would get my reply... "It sounds like I have read this from another poet in another forum made in regards to possibly... You." Anyway, it is good to be here and Thank You. True, when we hold on through the rainy weather, God will bring a glimps of sunshine and a rainbow of Hope at the end of the storm. Bonnie, Yep, it's little ol me... just taken a leap on the wild side. Thank you for your being here as well giving me your support. Kathleen, Thank you for the Welcome. Isn't that sun that inot2B posted wonderful? It really brings the poem to life... and the sun (SON) does give us life as well. Thank God for His endless chances. Sunshine, There you are! I was hoping that you would end up in here. Your presence really brightens this post. Thank you for your compliments. |
