I met a young lady I could tell she was special from the start Little did I know she was after my heart She was a collector of hearts Broken hearts We talked, we played The longer she stayed The closer she got to my heart After all she is a collector of hearts Lonely hearts I was just another name In her game Her game of collecting hearts But I am walking off the field With my heart A little burned But a lesson learned To stay away from the queen of hearts |

Interesting...it is hard to understand why some women seem to encourage me to fall in love with them even though they know they are not falling in love with me...perhaps it makes them feel better about themselves...to have me make such a fool of myself....true at some point you have to take yourself out of the game...give only that which is given in return...funny how those that are so emotionally unavailable seems to be the ones to scream the loudest when you back away...wondering what is going on...in reply I can only say "I am giving you what you have given me...a passive nothing...how does it feel?...James |

ah, but she'll never hold the trophy, that's only given to the deserving.< !signature--> "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."" Laurie Lee Kathleen [This message has been edited by Irish Rose (edited 11-01-2000).] |

Alan, there are many collector of hearts in this world. I often wonder about the use of the word "love". I think it too special to be thrown around like it is today. At least not the deep meaning love...there are after all many kinds of love...But the truest should be shared among two only. A nice message you sent. ~Wynter *I hope in reading all those responses my name doesn't make me seem like one of those cold-hearted women.
