Mother you have given up so much just to see us smile,

Tells us how we can repay back,
The love that we seem to lack,

In life you gave up your choices,
Just so you could hear our happy voices,

Our debt to you can never be fully paid,
Let us know how we can come to your aid?

No ounce of selfishness I spot in you,
The way you raised us, that’s how I knew,

To see us grow up was worth the entire struggle,
School, job and two kids,
I wonder how you manage to juggle?

At times when all seems doomed,
You looked at us and your inner strength bloomed,

I don’t know how you mange to keep sane,
Not an ounce of pain on us you let rain,

No matter what society said you stayed by our side,
You decided one day that their rules you would no abide,

All of your life you have help us along the way,
Tears in your eyes we can no longer bear,
Now it is our turn to take your care.

Have you showed this to your mom? I'm sure that she'll love it!

This a beautiful piece. You must have a wonderful mom, and you have wonderful thoughts of her. bless you both.

I see another side to you.  This one brought me tears.  I can only hope that I am raising my son to be as loving as you.
