Torn apart, lost, confused
Dreams vanished into nightmares
Years of love, tears of anguish
Wondering if tomorrow will exist
My face, just a blur, eyes so red

I sought for answers
Seeking to find myself
Amidst millions of reasons
A search, that perhaps would never end
Walked a thousand paths, heard a thousand voices
Some calling to give up, others singing love songs
Melodies so sad, of feelings rich and rare.

I saw flowers I never flinched
Birds telling me to look at them, I ignored
Possums, angry that I did not stop and speak
Owls, letting me know, it was night
I found my way through the dark to lay my body
Another day, another night, into the unknown

The thunder and rain dampening my soul
In a room alone, cross in my hand
My spirit trembling, faith in my heart.
Mercy, my God, I prayed for healing
Homes apart, thoughts immersing
The tears flowed, and the pain mounting

With tenderness, the pen in my hand
My honest words to you my love
Revealed once more my love for you
Expressed rapidly, feverishly, and tenderly
My deepest sorrow in the words
Only God made me write, giving me courage
To reassure you of my sincere hurt
Of not being with you to hold you
And you holding me once more

You opened my heart again
My face drenched from torrential tears
My voice trembling, sounds of pain
My heart greeting your words
Telling me to return home
God had answered my call
As I make my way to you
He walks at my side, His hand on my shoulder
Bringing me home, to you, to our children
And with the softness of his whisper
Asking us to love and support each other
In the gathering of the home, He made for us.
The darkness is gone, His light shines.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

You write so fragile and tenderly. I'm always astonished at the depth of spirit you portray in such a deep and delicate manner...

I don't know what you're going through, but I know that with expression and pouring out of emotions the pain has competition and that is so important. This gives the feel of an answer toward the end and went from dark to light, and I hope that is also true.

over the rain-green grass,
and the sun drips honey.""
