Sitting alone in the dark Morning creeping in at dawn I feel alone and lonely Then I think of you and smile You come to me and hold me tight I forget why i felt lonely at all You are cherished my love From one minute to the next You have me in your power I want only to make you smile. Listen to my whispering sounds As I speak the words I love you No need to turn around dear I am not any where near you I am in your heart and mind You think of the time we share When two star crossed lovers met That time we touched,kissed and loved The dream of the world we need Fear not my sweet Northern flower I will warm you from the cold Wrap you in my arms so tight And in each others arms we sleep. But then we awaken at dawn When morning has crept in We hesitate to look around then we feel each other near For the day has come my love That there is no more wishing That we could be together soon Because I am right beside you Making love to you as birds sing The days seem so much brighter Since you first came into my life Staying near my heart to protect me.
