"The Crimson of the Day"

Within this world
of hurried whirr
and promise penned
I move about
until the day
approaches end

And all the while
your words a
balming sweet allay
encase my mind
throughout the
crimson of the day

And there at dusk,
with thickened
vision growing dim
your voice, my love,
an angel's breath
upon my skin

I loved those lines...I feel the same way. Another gem, Rainydays.

The sweet tender feel of this poem sings to
the soul...this is beautiful and your
closing lines wrapped it nicely in the glow
of a sunset~

RainyDays~
Such lovely images inspire.

When the crimson of the day
meets the indigo of the night
All the sky is melting purple
a visual palette of delight

Enjoyed very much.
