To hold you in my arms again
would be a dream come true
but until MS goes to heaven
I'll savour memories of you

but should there be a window
through which we could touch
you'd feel the love and know
that I dream of this so much

You'd know the route that I take
As I remember the day you were born
the love you'd see through my tears
a heartache that left me so torn

I've spoken of my love for you
with kind and special friends
and some of them have told me
tears will help a heart to mend

Last year I took special roses
and placed them by the stream
yellow white for golden sunshine
and shared with you my dream

I know one day we'll meet again
I'll know you by your smile
because my darling daughter
you made my life worthwhile

As I fed swans by the river
so gentle was their touch
I thought of all my anger
to lose you both is cruel
and hurts so very much.

This is a lovely tribute to your daughter - I know she's smiling down on you now (and she's got a beautiful smile as you do). Take care, my friend. You are in my thoughts this week, Cindy.

Tender, touching and beautifully done, Cindy. HUGS to you on this trying weekend. My prayers are with you.

A Letter From Heaven

I’m sending hugs and kisses from above
To let you know I’m thinking of you still;
I’m safely snuggled in His arms of love
In Paradise, according to His will.
One joyous day you’ll see me once again
When time and space no longer separate
Me from your side; we’ll be together then
A blessing that no one can confiscate.
Until that day remember I love you
And that I’m smiling down upon your way
To give you strength in everything you do
To fill your heart with cheer from day to day…
And playing with the angels all the while
So Mommy dry your tears, give me a smile.

Cindy,
You have already touched through the spiritual window, in all your thoughts, and prayers, your sorrow, your longing, and even when writing this lovely poems. The window is open to your heart and soul. This is so beautifully written.

Cindy--

my heart goes out to you. i know
how hard it is to lose someone who
you love so very much. i can't imagine
what it is like losing a child. but i do
know what it is like to lose a parent. i am
the same age your daughter would be...and
six years ago i lost my mom. i know the
hurt, the pain, the confusion, and the
sadness that goes along with this kind of
pain. i am so sorry for your loss! maybe
and this thought does make me smile a
little...your daughter and my Mom are up
in heaven together as friends.   you will
be in my thoughts. take care.

friends gather 'round
lifting up smiles from sorrowful frowns
their own aching cares travelworn
for the lost child that was born

friends gather into open arms
keeping close loved ones with mutual ache
women know best, but men are learning too
when grief is shared, it's lessened by these few...

you have our hearts, our prayers are with you
it's never enough, I know
but trust in God's wisdom, it's best
and she's there on his side, you know...

As the country song goes, "There's holes in the floor of heaven" and you have to know that she is watching you and yes there are windows too and your window is in your heart.  This is a beautiful tribute of love to your daughter.  She is with the Lord right now and smiling and singing with angels just waiting for that day when the two of you will once again find your way to each others arms.  Hugs to you and prayers as well.

Oh what beautiful words you have written for your sweet angel RG...Hoping that you find comfort knowing that she's gotten her downy wings and is soaring through the heavens, watching over you.  Thoughts and prayers to you dear lady.  Bonnie
