A Tender Kiss

The force that rules the pull of ocean tides
That rumbles quakes to open an abyss
That draws hot molton lava from inside
This is the potent power of a kiss

The gentle plush of pillow’s downy loft
The delicateness of rose’s smooth caress
The silken sheen of kitten furry soft
This is a kiss’s velvet tenderness

A Milky Way of splendor in the skies
The draw of little stars on nights like this
Alluring words unspoken by your eyes
This is the strong attraction of a kiss

The radiance of bursting yellow flower
The green of woods in quiet peacefulness
The blazing golden streaks at sunset hour
This is the natural beauty of a kiss

The flush of love that wraps the heart in bliss
This is the meaning of a tender kiss

Elizabeth this is a wonderful expression of the power of a kiss. The magic of a kiss that is as impressive as all those metaphors you are using...just a marvelous work of poetry. I like the perspective you put into the lines, very strong, intense and passionate!!!
