You stepped into my yard, And into my life Somehow, you changed the course of events forever It astonishes me the way you Speak with nonchalance Walk with the swagger That makes you seem overly confident When you're quaking inside It's hard for you to speak But somehow you found the way Found the right words That pierced my heart, Then he healed the wound And I was seventeen And you were seventeen We knew everything about life Nothing about ourselves And little about love How you managed to teach me all that I could ever need to know... Well, I guess that's the one thing I still don't understand "Life is so short and unpredictable, Precious," You'd always tell me "Love me while you can, because nothing lasts forever." Spoken with the true wisdom of a teenage romantic And heard by the heart's ears I loved you with everything I had And now that you're gone... I have nothing you paint the picture of a young love, that never had the chance to grow. A flower harvested before its bloom. sad indeed. |

Can my nothing and your nothing sit down and have a drink?? It is a sad situation, I believe Bill may be right, even more awful, if true. But I shall keep on trying, and you will too. What else, in fact, is there, but the search for love? Take care Sandra |
